Cooking food, mending trousers, knitting gloves, scarves and hats, doing homework, coming up with ideas for an essay, worrying about dictations, catching runaway hamsters, cleaning noses that are dripping, sweeping rooms, beating carpets, not in spite of the flu Linger in bed, drying tears, distributing consolation, cuddling, stroking, being tender, forgiving anger, nonsense, quarrels, even scolding, that's clear, you do everything wonderfully! Always, day in, day out, I want to be thankful for that. But have you ever thought about who made you a mother? Without me, you see, you couldn't be a mother.
